AC Repair in Bedford, Texas
The system was fine last week and now the house will not get below 80. That is the call we get most, and it is usually one of a handful of parts.

What We Check First
An air conditioner that is blowing warm air is not one problem, it is a symptom with six or seven possible causes. Rather than swap parts until something works, the technician takes readings and narrows it down.
- Capacitor and contactor. The most common failure in Texas heat. A weak capacitor lets the fan spin but keeps the compressor from starting.
- Refrigerant pressure. Low charge means a leak somewhere. We find it before adding refrigerant so you are not paying to refill it again next month.
- Fan and blower motors. Bearings, windings, and the amp draw under load.
- Temperature split. The difference between return air and supply air tells us whether the coil is doing its job.
- Drain line and float switch. A clogged line shuts a lot of systems down on purpose.
- Thermostat and low-voltage wiring. Quick to fix and easy to miss.
Then You Get a Price
Once we know what failed, you hear the part, the labor and the total. If the unit is old and the repair is expensive, we say so and give you the replacement number too. You decide. Nothing gets replaced because it was convenient for us.

Why the AC Fails in July
A condenser sitting on the west side of a Bedford house in August is working against 100 degree air and a roof that is hotter than that. The parts that carry the most load, the capacitor and the compressor, are the ones that give out. Systems that have not had a coil cleaning in a few years run hotter still. That is why we push spring tune-ups for older units.
Questions People Ask
- How fast can someone get here?
- We run 24 hours a day. When you call we give you a real arrival window based on where the trucks are, and the technician calls before heading over.
- Do you work on my brand?
- Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, Ruud, American Standard, Amana, York, Daikin and the rest of the common residential brands. Parts for most of them are on the truck.
- Is it worth fixing a 15 year old unit?
- Sometimes. A capacitor on a 15 year old system is worth doing. A compressor usually is not. We give you both numbers and our honest read.
- Do you charge to come out?
- There is a diagnostic fee, and you hear the amount when you call. It covers the technician finding the problem and giving you a written price.
