Gas Furnaces
Most furnaces in Bedford are up in the attic or in a closet, and the failures are predictable. Ignitors crack. Flame sensors get a coating on them and shut the burner down after a few seconds. Pressure switches stick, inducer motors seize, control boards fail. We carry ignitors, sensors, and the common boards on the truck.

Heat Pumps
A heat pump is the same outdoor unit you run in summer, working in reverse. Winter calls are usually about defrost problems, reversing valves, or backup heat strips that are not coming on. The system also shows its age faster because it runs year round.

Fall Check
If you had us out for a spring tune-up on the AC, the fall visit is the other half: burners, ignitor, flame sensor, heat exchanger inspection, and a carbon monoxide reading at the registers. It takes about an hour and it is the visit that keeps the January call from happening.
